Kayla Rae

This is a special evening featuring the up and coming soulful rhythm and blues singer, Kayla Rae.  Kayla Rae is an 18 year old singer/songwriter from Lagrangeville, NY. As a soulful, jazzy-pop vocalist, with influences from Amy Winehouse, Lana Del Rey, and Lady Gaga, Kayla Rae likes to stick to her dark and mysterious side, despite the upbeat vibe of the music. She is always writing new material, recording, performing, competing, collaborating with other artists, and posting videos via social media, continuing to grow her presence.

Kayla Rae has been blessed with a variety of amazing opportunities already throughout her career. However in 2016, things began to build upon themselves. Her single, "Lullaby" is capturing the hearts of fans everywhere, and is loved by many industry elite. Also, with more than 40 performances all across the Tri-State area and beyond in just the past year, she has electrified crowds, entertaining for tens of thousands at some of the biggest festivals in NY and NJ. Her dedication earned her voice/music to be featured in several films and television shows over the past few years. 2017 is underway with a full calendar of performances, and new music soon to hit the speakers (including collaborations with a few major artists)! The singer/songwriter believes from the bottom of her heart, that the combination of her uniqueness, style, and work ethic will help her to accomplish all goals.

Live jazz music is from 7-10 pm.  For the New Year we will have 2 seatings.  First seating is from 6:30pm-8:30pm $10 per person for a table reservation.  The second seating is from 9pm-10:30pm $5 per person for a table reservation.  Dinner is served both before and during the show. Be sure to check out our delicious craft cocktail menu as well.  Bar seating available on first come, first served basis.

Kimberly Hawkey and The Swingaroos

Kimberly Hawkey is an awesome song revivalist, actress, lyricist and award-winning multi-genre vocalist and accomplished band-leader from New York. She uses lyrics and melodies of the past century to deliver the collective soul of American song to a new generation. Her Big Band-era sound has earned her praises "a true lead singer with real presence and substance behind the style" and a "delightfully fresh-voiced treat"She topped the list of OnstageBlog.com's "Top 10 Actresses in a Musical in Westchester/Rockland/Connecticut"! Kimberly was a winner of the American Traditions Vocal Competition in Savannah, GA, and the Jazz Forum Arts Vocal Competition in Westchester as well the Cabaret Showdown and the 2013 All-Star Cabaret Showdown in Lower Manhattan.

Santi Debriano Quartet

Santi Debriano, born in Panama in 1955, has been composing music on his acoustic bass since 1982 throughout North America, Europe and the Far East. His abilities as an improviser, arranger and composer have made him a favorite of such greats as Archie Shepp, Sam Rivers, Pharaoh Sanders, Oliver Lake, Freddie Hubbard and others. His work as a leader has been documented on several recordings with his groups. After completing his B.A. at Union College, graduate work at the New England Conservatory under Tiny Martin and Miroslav Vitous, and M.A. at Wesleyan University, Debriano joined Archie Shepp’s quartet for four years. After a three year stint living in Europe, where he performed regularly with the Sam Rivers trio, he relocated to New York in 1985. Once in NY, Debriano began working with a wide variety of musicians in the greater New York community including Kirk Lightsey, Sonny Fortune, Chico Freeman, Elvin Jones, Freddie Hubbard, Louis Hayes, Danilo Perez and others. He is featured in over 100 recordings as sideman and 9 recordings as a leader! Santi joins forces with a great quartet for Chappaqua Station, Pianist, Dave Kikoski; Drummer, Tommy Campbell, and Guitarist, Freddie Bryant

Alexis Cole Trio

Called "one of the great voices of today," by Jonathan Schwartz, Alexis Cole has been compared to classic jazz singers such as Sarah Vaughan and Anita O'Day. She's performed with the Boston Pops and New York Philharmonic on stage at venues from Avery Fisher Hall to the Kennedy Center. She records for Motéma Music, NY, Chesky Records, NY and Venus Records, Japan. Her nine recordings, which feature musical luminaries such as Fred Hersch, Eric Alexander, Matt Wilson, Harry Pickens, Don Braden and Pat LaBarbara, have received high praise in the jazz press and are spun on radio world-wide. In addition to her many performances on great stages, Alexis can be seen at top jazz venues like Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland, The Jazz Standard, Blues Alley, and Billboard Live, Tokyo. Cole is the recipient of a Swing Journal Gold Disk award, and was a winner of the NY Jazzmobile and Montreux Jazz Festival vocal competitions, and a finalist of the Sarah Vaughan Competition. Alexis studied voice and piano at the University of Miami and William Paterson University, and holds a Masters of Music from Queens College. She has also trained in Indian Classical singing at the Jazz India Vocal Institute in Mumbai. She heads the Jazz Voice Program at SUNY Purchase and also teaches privately. She performs and conducts master classes around the world.

Kelly Green with bassist James Robbins

Kelly Green is a wonderful talented up and coming jazz pianist vocalist who currently resides in Harlem, New York City. She received her Bachelors in Jazz Studies- piano performance at the University of North Florida, and received the outstanding musician’s award her last three years at the University. While attending William Paterson University where she received her Masters in Jazz Piano Performance, Kelly also received the Outstanding Graduate Music Student Award for her class. In 2014 Kelly toured as pianist in the William Paterson Colombia Band, in Colombia, and South America. In December 2016 she finished recording her soon to be released debut jazz record including wonderful musicians Christian McBride, Steve Nelson, Josh Evans, Kush Abadey, Jovan Alexandre, Matt Dwonszyk, Noam Israeli, Tamir Shmerling, and Mike Troy.

Daniel Lauter Quartet

Daniel Lauter, local Chappaqua resident and composer of catchy and melodic original jazz, performs with Tenor, Alto and Soprano Sax. His jazz groups have performed for the Sag Harbor American Music Festival, James Beard Chef & Champagne, Wolffer Estates, Stonebarns Center, Summerstage, Blue Note Groove Series.  His tribal swing, jump blues tune, 'Ever So Slow' was aired on XM Radio. Diverse in background, in his earlier years he was selected as one the San Francisco Bay area's top 10 rock bands for a single release with the band RX, on Sax fronting bands that performed at the Filmore, Wolfgangs, Kabuki Theater, I Beam, Keystone, Berkeley Square; and originated a Tribal Swing sound at SF nightclubs. He has been recognized by Billboard for original Jazz tunes. Lauter studied classical music and performance at Purchase Conservatory majoring in Clarinet with Charles Russo, NY City Opera and David Weber, NYC Ballet. 

Ken Kresge & Emedin Rivera, Latin Jazz Quartet

Ken Kresge Quartet with special guest, Emmy Award Winner Emedin Rivera.  Modern Jazz and Latin Music.  As a pianist, Ken has performed with the legendary Eddie Harris and Grammy winner Eddie Daniels, in addition to being a winner of the Michelob Jazz Search.  Emedin has won five Emmy Awards, and performed live with Harry Belafante, Gregory Hines, Paquito De Rivera, Vicky Sue Robinson, Angela Bofill, and Gloria Gaynor to name a few!  www.kenkresge.com  www.emedinrivera.com

Aimee Allen Trio

Aimée Allen, is a multi-lingual jazz vocalist, composer, and renaissance woman. Her voice is nuanced and sparkling with soul and sensuality.  Though singing was a big part of her childhood, Aimée first began singing professionally with jazz a cappella groups in college. After graduation, Aimée moved to Paris where she performed regularly in jazz clubs and festivals. The deep relationship between the francophone audiences and Brazilian bossa nova led Aimée to form Les Bossa Novices, a Paris-based group dedicated to bossa and jazz. Aimée now performs regularly in New York City and abroad. Standards and bossa are part of her repertoire, but now an accomplished composer, she also sings her original songs, many of which have become audience favorites.  Her original music has also been licensed for feature film and network television. She is a versatile singer, through jazz, bossa, blues, tango, ballads and even pop. Billy Test on piano and Gary Wang on Bass.

Erik Lawrence & Mala Waldron Quartet

Erik Lawrence is a world class musician playing saxophones and flutes, is at home playing in various styles, from tradition to experimental, from large ensembles to solo.

He has brought his original melodic and rhythmic approach to Europe, Across the United States, South America and the Caribbean, was a featured performer at the World Peace Festival and has performed additionally at Northsea Jazz, Discover Jazz, Montreal Jazz, Bonnaroo, Merlefest, London Jazz Festival, Molde Jazz, the Free Jazz Festival in Brazil, Berkshire Jazz Festival and more!

Mala Waldron, is a soulful songstress and vocalist, a native of NYC who studied jazz piano, voice & composition with Makanda Ken McIntyre, Richard Harper, Warren Smith and Amina Claudine Myers, earning a B.A. Degree. Her career has enabled Mala to share her music all over the world in such places as Japan, France, Italy, Belgium, Italy, Russia and most recently Belarus.  Mala has performed in numerous international tours and festivals including the Hennessy-Moet Asian XOXO Jazz Tour (with shows in China, Taiwan & Malaysia), the Catania Jazz Fest, Corinaldo Jazz Fest and Farfa Voice Fest (Sabina) as well as festivals in the U.S., a highlight of which was the Annual Diet Coke Women in Jazz Festival (JALC) opening for Patrice Rushen.
